Performing your own bed bug heat treatment is easy! Push in the plugs...Kill the bugs! We want you to be successful, so we provide all the necessary prep, heater and set-up information for you. We will also be available for questions throughout the heat treatment as needed. We are friendly, highly trained, equipment certified and have dealt with bed bugs ourselves personally. There is absolutely no reason to dish out thousands of dollars to professionals for a procedure you can tackle on your own. Keep your money!
Need to treat the whole house? Just a bedroom or two? No problem! Choose a heater rental package based on the square footage of the treatment area, not necessarily your entire home. Note that a heat treatment, using the proper sized system, typically takes between 16-24 hours to properly complete. You can speed up your treatment (or treat two smaller rooms in one day) by selecting a bigger heating system than the area calls for. No matter what, never rush your treatment! The lethal temperatures you will be creating need time to bake into all those bed bug hiding places.

It is best that over the counter repellent chemicals such as pesticide sprays and foggers are not used just prior to treatment as the heat can neutralize the spray, rendering it less effective. You can use a high quality residual bed bug pesticide or other natural sprays following your heat treatment as an added layer of protection.
Heating Capacity Note: The maximum square footage on our heat packages assumes "ideal conditions". If you have a room packed with furniture and/or excessive personal belongings in the room, you might need more heating power. Concrete block homes might require more heat versus wood frame/mobile homes because they are more conductive of energy and more dense. This means you can heat slightly less space and/or it will take a little longer to reach target temperatures if you have a concrete block home. The same is true if your home has high or vaulted ceilings, unreliable power sources, poor insulation or older, drafty windows. When in doubt, consider stepping up your rental package to the next size up. You can always be over-sized, but never under-sized.
DIY Plus Delivery: Delivery prices start at $200, depending on your distance from us and the complexity of your treatment. With a DIY Plus Delivery package, we will deliver the bed bug heating system to you in an unmarked vehicle (see details below) and will work with you to ensure the system up and running before we leave. We will be available for assistance and questions throughout the heat treatment as necessary, so you can confidently kill bed bugs yourself! Experience matters! We have all kinds of tips and tricks on being successful, including fan placement, how to easily separate off sections of your home that are not being treated, the potential need to cover very old drafty windows to retain heat, etc.
Equipment Pick Up: We will agree on a specific time window for picking up the system from you. Prior to our arrival, respectfully ask that you have shut everything down, all cords are wrapped, and all fans are placed neatly by the front door. In the event of a "very inconvenient" pick up situation, we may need to charge an additional fee at our discretion. Please be respectful of our time as we will always be respectful of yours!

Terms & Conditions Overview:
- Schedule your bed bug heater rental a few days in advance if possible, however same day service is sometimes available
- Credit/debit cards, cash and business checks accepted
- Sales tax and delivery fees may apply
- Driver's license and credit card must be presented when renting a heating system
- Please keep in mind we reserve these heating systems for other customers, so those who do not show up at their appointment time could be charged a cancellation fee.
- Bed bug heater rental equipment must be returned on time, but we are flexible within reason. As such, we will happily extend your 24-hour rental period by four extra hours as a courtesy to you. If bed bug heater rental is more than four hours late, the full 24 hour "Additional Day" rental fee applies.
