Bed Bugs Florida will rent you heat treatment equipment specially designed and used for bed bug control. The heaters will the raise the temperature in the rooms to a high enough level to eliminate any bed bugs and eggs that are in the room being treated.  Bed bugs and eggs die within 90 minutes at 118 degrees or immediately at 122 degrees. During a heat treatment, the air temperature in the room is typically between 130 degrees to 140 degrees.

​Axial radial fans are used to help create circulation in the room, like a convection oven, to make sure the correct temperatures are reached.  A heat treatment can take as little as eight hours, depending on the condition of the area being treated. With our DIY rental process, you have the equipment for 24 hours giving you ample time to treat one or possibly two infested rooms if needed.

​During the heat treatment it is recommended that you remove any medication, ammunition, candles, pets (including fish) and any other heat sensitive items that may melt or be damaged at temperatures up to 150°F degrees should be removed from the area being treated.
